I bought this camera for a little Polk I-Sonic. I am a XM subscriber and can be activated online. Is the size of 2 quarters combined. The home docking station is required to use this device and can be purchased separately. This tuner can be moved to receiver to another receiver that is XM ready. I think this unit work in automotive applications, but also. XM Mini-Tuner is a must!

Received the XM mini-tuner in a timely manner, we have connected to my receiver at home and I was able to receive XM radio at home immediately.
This product is perfect for my car and house. . . my other car. I use it for my head unit with Kenwood KDC-XM100V and its awesome! Then I boutgh this basin XM Mini Tuner for my home stay. Now I have to sign two subscriptions. All I have to do is take with me after driving the tuner and connect it to my home dock attached to my receiver and I have XM in my living room. I think buying another home dock so I can install it on my work, XM to work. All need the dock is compatible for that and I have an XM mini tuner when I want.
