Purchased this makes a little behind ‘because I was determined not to enter a car 100 degrees as I left my job in Arizona. Had it installed by a local dealer and it works very well. The beach is fantastic, I was in a conference room on the third floor of my building and was able to start my car which was parked in the parking structure next door.
I give this 5 stars if not for the complaint that the remote does not wear well. After only one year can not use the remote took almost all the paint chipped off and the screen is scratched in several areas.
General recommend this remote start / security Python but if they could only improve the quality of construction at a distance would be a buyer lives of future products by Python (DEI).
This is the best I’ve had a remote starter by far. Ive been an installer for five years and Python is the brand i recommend all my clients who have a 1% rate of failure of about 1,000 facilities. thats really good for other electronic devices in a vehicle. and the fact that you can charge the remote is the best thing that I do not know how I crossed AAA batteries over the last 4 years with my old remote start 881xp, but should be about fifty years. If your in the market for a remote starter with 2 remotes so look no further, the python will be there for you if its 20 below, or its 100th arrived by car at the right temperature, with a glance Remote Display the right temperature!
I was skeptical at first because it seemed a kind of high prices for some of the same features as the remote start some others, but I’m glad I got it. It works perfectly. I have a ‘300zx 94 I wanted to protect my heart and everything he does. Remote Start was the icing on the cake. Frys Electronics, I had to install it. Cost 200 but it took several hours and it works perfectly.
One of the best parts of the LCD is now remote. Go up to a mile away and you really do something. One thing not mentioned here, you can change the color options of the LCD menu, which is impressive, the default view bothers me haha. But seriously, this is a great product, the brain’s alarm system is massive and it helps to have a real understanding of what you do with this thing, a bunch of relays and dysfunction seriously if a some point, I can impotent. But Python is a great brand and I am really happy with this purchase. The display of blue light (and an antenna LCD) is a light digging large (bright blue LED).
I tried to get into my car (that I know well enough to do some blocking problems and it is a very good job. The shock sensor collects the trial and not an alarm, nothing too much that goes into a siren on a large scale and the remote will vibrate LCD / flash. I tried the tilt sensor add on and it works really well, I I pushed the car about a foot from the ground and my alarm went off.’m curious to know if I’m parked on a hill, so it would also be the case (or a long way) but I havent tried.
What else can I say I love this alarm, and got on Amazon for 224 with free time with 2 days shipping, you can not find in stores less than 300 ….
Oh, and I highly recommend you get the package said that its worth, the backup battery and tilt sensor are worth all worth a few dollars more if you buy this system.

I bought this I intend to install. Do not come with installation instructions at all. The quick reference guide refers to the website of Directed Electronics for a guide to install, but if you’re not a registered dealer or installer does not work. The site itself will not allow you to open a menu unless you have a number that you gave the dealer you purchased the unit. I bought here on Amazon, so I have this magic number. There are phone numbers for everyone in the box or the ED, where the “contact us” link is clicked on the site, you nowhere. I called Amazon twice, they also had trouble finding any info for a good contact of Directed Electronics. (Customer Service DE 800-753-0600). I called twice, each time I sat waiting for 20 minutes before speaking to a real person. I was told by customer service that ED since I bought via Amazon, so I installed from a local dealer (also a dealer listed on their website as one of their local dealers) are not covered by ED guarantee. Very disappointing. I think when I have a system they will not be a system of DE. This one I return to the Amazon.
